It's Black History Month. This year for Black History Month I was blessed with the opportunity to design a few digital asset for The Historic Magnolia House for their Supper Club Kickoff Series.
The Magnolia House, is rich in history! It was a popular destination for African American travelers who were not allowed to share the same accommodations as Caucasians, including the same eating and drinking facilities, during Jim Crow Era of America in the mid-twentieth century.
Many African Americans of renown stayed at The Magnolia House, including James Brown, Ray Charles, Ruth Brown, Ike and Tina Turner, Joe Tex, Carter G. Woodson, and Jackie Robinson. The Historic Magnolia House, is located in Greensboro, NC.
